With the Juwel internal filter Bioflow, a special filter basket ensures easy handling for removing and cleaning the filter media. Thanks to the large filter volume, excellent mechanical, biological and chemical filtration is achieved, while at the same time ensuring long filter life and thus much less frequent maintenance intervals. The Juwel internal filter Bioflow produces the best filter results thanks to its unique double-flow principle. As the flow speeds in the filter vary, they contribute significantly to the exceptionally good filter performance of the Bioflow filter system. In the upper filter area, there is a relatively high flow velocity, which is particularly important for mechanical and chemical filtration. In the lower area of the filter, however, the flow velocity is much slower, which is a particularly good basis for the optimal development of anaerobic bacteria. These anaerobic bacteria are of enormous importance for biological filtration. One of the biggest advantages of the Bioflow filter system is that the water always circulates in the aquarium.
